The current model Navara has been quite popular with tradies, but after six years it’s due for an update.
Leaked photos show that the 2021 Nissan Navara is following its main competitors by sticking a massive grill on the front end!
Along with the big grill there are also some fancy new quad-LED headlights.
The Navara pictured above would be a high-grade model, as the image below shows more conventional headlights on what is probably a more basic model.
Reports from CarExpert claim that there will be no changes to engines or power outputs, so this appears to be more of a cosmetic update.
Another interesting leak is what could be the Navara Warrior. This appears to be Nissan’s attempt to take on the Ford Ranger Raptor.
This may well be the last true Nissan Navara, as it has been widely reported that the next major Navara update will see it changing to a rebadged Triton.
This is part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance which will see more model sharing between the three brands.
It’s no great surprise given the sharing between so many other utes, such as the upcoming Ranger/Amarok twins and the D-MAX/BT50 pairing.
Nissan is revealing the real deal on 5 November 2020, so we only have a few days to wait.
