Standard Assumptions:

  1. You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and the appropriate qualifications for the occupation you are undertaking.
  2. During the last 5 years you or any principal, partner or director were not aware of any insurance being declined or cancelled, application rejected, or special conditions or excess imposed by any insurer.
  3. During the last 5 years you or any principal, partner or director were not aware of any claims made against you, or products being recalled or of any incident which would be insured by this proposed insurance.
  4. During the last 5 years you or any principal, partner or director were not aware of any criminal offence (excluding traffic offences) or either alone or jointly being declared bankrupt or subject to any form of insolvency administration.
  5. You do not operate outside of Australia and are not involved with exporting any products.
  6. You do not engage/employ contractors, subcontractors or labour hire personnel.
  7. You do not undertake any work at &/or on aircraft, airports, satellites, military installations, public utilities, railways, marine vessels, chemical/petrochemical plant, offshore platforms, public utilities, mine sites, gas &/or oil pipelines, temperature critical environments such as laboratories.
  8. When working in areas frequented by the general public, you always adequately cordon off the perimeter where work is taking place & erect appropriate warning signage to prevent unauthorised third party access.

If you do not meet any of these conditions we still may be able to provide cover, however the quotation amount may change.

The quotes are indicative only, and before any cover is in place our staff will need to provide you with a number of documents including a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and Financial Services Guide (FSG).

The quote amount may change if you undertake certain activities which fall outside of a standard insurance policy. Such activity may include work on mine sites, airports and other high risk locations.

We deal with a range of different insurance companies, including household names such as Allianz, QBE, CGU, Vero and more.

Our online quoting system uses two insurance providers, and your insurance will be placed with one of the following two companies:

Calibre have been operating in Australia in 2005, and are owned by Munich Re, which is one of the largest insurance groups in the world.

Trade Risk has an agreement with Calibre that allows our clients to access insurance at rates which may be cheaper than other brokers can offer.

Woodina Underwriting


Woodina is an Australian underwriting agency that, as with all insurance companies, is regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).

They are underwritten by certain underwriters at Lloyd’s of London, which is one of the worlds oldest and best known insurance groups.
