The current Toyota HiLux hasn’t been known as a particularly good looking ute.
Introduced back in 2015, there were some rather unkind comments about its front end, comparing to an internet-famous dog commonly referred to as Phteven…
But that didn’t stop it from smashing its competition in the sales charts. It seems tradies and everyone one else will keep buying the HiLux no matter what.
Now photos have been leaked online claiming to show the 2021 HiLux, which could make it into Toyota showrooms by the end of this year.
Keep in mind, although these images look quite official, they could just be Photoshopped rather than genuinely leaked images from Toyota.
Let’s check it out…
The images above look more like computer renderings, unlike the images below which appear more like the real thing.
We might not have to wait too long for confirmation of the above images, as CarAdvice are reporting that official images could be released imminently.
It’s just a facelift, but the changes to the front are quite extensive, especially the big new snout which is more prominent in some of the colour options.
What do you think? Would the 2021 facelift temp you to upgrade your current HiLux, or switch from another make?
