Trade Risk – Supporting Tradies Mental Health
We’re super proud to become a financial supporter of TIACS. Or as they put it, a Legend of TIACS!
What’s TIACS? You might not be familiar with the name, but you’ve probably seen the colourful shirts around.
TIACS – This is a Conversation Starter – provides a mental health counselling service that is aimed primarily at blue collar workers in Australia.
Since their inception, they’ve helped over 16,000 people with free mental health support.
Trade Risk’s donation will help TIACS to provide mental health support to more tradies, along with truckies, rural and other blue-collar workers.

About TIACS
The TIACS story starts with TradeMutt, the social impact workwear brand founded by Dan Allen and Ed Ross, who both worked in the building industry.
Dan lost his best mate to suicide, and in a quest to raise awareness, the TradeMutt workwear brand was born.
The colourful TradeMutt shirts aim to raise awareness of mental health issues amongst blue collar workers and to help start conversations – with each shirt wearing the message “This is a Conversation Starter”.
From there TIACS was born, with profits from the TradeMutt brand helping to provide free mental health counselling for those who need it.
A group of businesses also provide financial support to TIACS, and Trade Risk is proud to join that group.
