We are super proud to announce our sponsorship of the ECB V8 Utes series, which runs as a support category to the Virgin Australia Supercars series.
Trade Risk will be sponsoring the ECB V8 Utes series for the remainder of the 2017 season, appearing at the SuperCheap Auto Bathurst 1000, Vodafone Gold Coast 600 and Coates Hire Newcastle 500.
Our logo will appear on the front and rear number plate of each racing ute for all three remaining rounds.
In addition to signage on the race cars, our Trade Risk logos will appear around the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 venue as well as on the big screens at the track.
Jamie Black, General Manager of Commercial – Supercars, is welcoming Trade Risk as a category sponsor over multiple rounds.
“The ECB V8 Ute Series will have some action-packed races across the three big events at Bathurst, Gold Coast and Newcastle delivering entertainment for the 500,000+ fans attending the events as well as the huge television audience viewing across multiple days. Trade Risk will achieve some large exposure across these events as we see them off in style. The long-running V8 Utes series as a category comes to an end in Newcastle, evolving to the ECB SuperUtes Series commencing in 2018” said Mr Black.
National Focus
Supercars are one of Australia’s few truly national sports, with events in almost all corners of the country, along with national television coverage.
Trade Risk shares this nationwide focus, with clients in all states and territories of Australia.
We have assisted over 5,000 tradies with their insurance needs, and we look forward to sharing our story with more tradies through this partnership.
Sponsoring the ute series makes absolute sense for Trade Risk, given how inextricably linked tradies and utes are here in Australia.
A New Era
2017 is the final season for the ECB V8 Utes series as we know it. From 2018 the series will be changing in line with the changing tastes of Aussie tradies and ute buyers.
Instead of the Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon utes which currently compete, 2018 will see the introduction of dual-cab diesel utes such as the Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger.
The humble Commodore and Falcon utes have served Australia well for decades, and we’re looking forward to being part of their farewell tour at three of Australia’s biggest Supercars events.
Watch Out!
Keep an eye out for our Trade Risk logos on the track and on the TV over the coming months.
